What is the DAM?
The DAM (Digital Asset Manager) contains custom images created and approved through the U. These images are available to be used on University of Utah sites.
If you need a very specific image for something like a landing page billboard, I can refer you to work with our designer, Colin Hill, to find something in Getty, but that would be for specific instances only.
To access the DAM you must have a user account (if you don’t have one already).
Creating a DAM Account
Step 1. Navigate to the Page
Go to the following URL to set up an account for the U Health DAM using your UNID: https://uofuhealth.org/dam
Step 2. Create an Account
Click on the blue ‘Enterprise Sign-In’ button. DO NOT register an account using email and password. This will create a duplicate account and may delay you ability to set up an account. Clicking on the ‘Enterprise Sign-in’ button will nest send you to a UNID log in screen.
Step 3. Log in
Enter your UNID and password and click on the login button.
Step 4. Get Account Approval
After you enter your UNID and password and click the login button you will be returned to the U Health DAM login page. It will look like nothing has happened. DO NOT register an account using email and password. This will create a duplicate account that we will have to track down and delete before you original account can be approved.
At this point you will have to send an email to: colin.hill@hsc.utah.edu and let him know that you have registered for a DAM account.
Step 5. Final Steps
Once you have sent an email, the administrator will approve your account. You will receive a confirmation email letting you know that your account is active. When your account is active, you will be able to access the DAM by going to: https://uofuhealth.org/dam and clicking the ‘Enterprise Sign-in’ button.
