Residents & Fellows Clinically Practicing Webpage Profiles

Overview

Webpage profiles for clinically practicing residents and fellows can be created. The purpose of these webpages is to allow patients to schedule appointments with these providers and see bios for providers seeing them in clinic. This also allows the web team to connect EPIC/MYCHART scheduling and location listings from the health system with the resident/fellow profiles.

Currently, all students, residents, profiles, and others can have profiles on the colleges, schools, department, and division webpages as created by their webmasters. See the two profiles side by side:

Getting Clinical U-CV Profiles Created

To request that a clinical profile be created for your residents/fellows, please email Krista Kendall at U-CV (UFIS) with the following:

  • PeopleSoft ID (uNID with a 0 instead of a U)
  • First Name
  • Middle Name
  • Last Name
  • Full Preferred Name (how they want their name to show on their online profile)
  • Postnominal degrees (degrees that show after their name)
  • Effective date

If you’d like Krista to upload a profile photo for the residents, you can add them to uBox and send her the link. Please make sure the file names include the resident’s name or uNID. Let me know if you have any questions.

If you have questions about this, contact the U-CV team through their request portal.

Showing Your Profile on Clinical Locations

For your profile to show on the correct location and specialty webpage, you must make sure to add the locations you practice at AND the correct specialty in the U-CV system to your profile.

Patient Scheduling Buttons

A red button that reads Schedule an Appointment.

If your department has not set up online/patient scheduling options/buttons, you can contact the access cycle specialists in Revenue Cycle Support Services. View the access specialists.

Once the team has set up access and tested it, the scheduling button should appear on the your profile. If it does not, please submit a ticket to the Digital Experience Team webmaster queue
